Types of Membership

I’m sure you can imagine how costly it must be to run the Library, it costs us hundreds of thousands of pounds a year. The Library is here to serve you. So, if you choose to be a Special Premium Member it means that you will help many people benefit from the Library and your donations will help us maintain our services. Being a Friend of the Library means the donation you make we will use it to pay for running costs and put the money is a Waqf Fund (like an endowment fund or perpetual charity) which means we will invest the money and profits we receive will go towards the running cost. This is one of the greatest forms of charity you can do.
